The end to January

We have been here 1 month so far.  When I think back over the month a lot has happened.  New Years Eve party, Crusades, Seminars, Memorial on the 12th, 24 volunteers have spent time here, beach, rice distributions, walk abouts, church services, learning to shop at the market, of course the wonderful beach- Oh did I already say that.  Not to mention all the work that is taking place.  This month has gone by quickly. 

Today was the first day that David and I were able to spend a few hours at the beach alone - well there were others at the beach we just didn't know any of them.  It was fabulous.  This past week has been a difficult one for me.  I came down with Strep throat and lost my voice but had medicine for it so I am feeling much better - my voice is still a little squeaky.  Thank you to the team again from Father's House in California as they left the meds that I needed and thank you to Lauren from the Crossroads church as she is a pharmacist and assisted me in figuring out what would work for me with all my allergies.  May God bless you all.  A special thanks to Leanne - you know why.

I think God is trying to teach me patience.  I am quite a hard learner on this one and am not enjoying the lessons.  Perhaps I will get it one of these days.  I am thankful that God has placed me here at this time.  I seek to stay in His will. 

Please continue to pray for David and me as well, remember James as he is home and working.  We appreciate every prayer.  Thank you.

    God's blessings to your family. Glad I'm not the only one struggling to post. God has such a wonderful way of teaching us if we look for His hand in our lives His grace is everywhere.

    Glad to hear you are starting to feel alot better Beth. Trust David doesn't kept sick from you . I talk to James last night he didn't go to work that day as it was too cold. It is lot more colder here today. I haven't gone outside today. We are all doing find . Bye for now
