Today was the first day of work for the Link Team. Mark's brother had a brick press that we have borrowed. Josh is a welder and is working at fixing it so that it can be used. We are hoping that it will be finished tomorrow so we can make more bricks in a day.
This is the rebar cutter in action. Perhaps now they will not wear out the angle grinder cutting the rebar.
James is acting foreman for a small crew that is tying the rebar columns to the grey beam. Bunk beds were being made, toilets fixed, water pipe leak stopped, sorting stuff... a lot of work was accomplished today. The wall is going up very fast. Presently the wall is straight out from the resident building for those that have been here before. They should be another day or two on that wall before they move to the back. I think the team is a little tired tonight and should sleep well.

ReplyDeleteBoy it's only been a week since i left but it seems like a month or more. Great to see the new team is workin well (almost looks like they did more than us already :D). Things are great here, busy as usual. Hope you have fun workin in the kitchen. Say hi to david and james for me.
