Today, I spent in the kitchen. Mostly I washed dishes. There are alot of dishes. We fed probably close to 30 people at lunch. For supper we are expecting over 55. I made a glass of citro (lime juice) this morning from the limes we bought on the way back from Jacmel. It was superb. I tasted this one vegetable that resembles a potato but is not one. We'll see at supper what it is like when it is cooked. We are having chicken for supper. They were cutting up fresh ginger and parsley. I should get back to see how they put it all together.
In the picture are two of the cooks: Madame Bazou and Madame Atis. I am called Madame David. I will need to spend more time in the kitchen with these wonderful women.
